Sustainability at Hotel Loveno is not a finished project. It is a process of understanding where we are, recognising what we already do and identifying where we can improve.

Over the years, we have introduced a number of practical measures in our daily operations, from reducing waste and unnecessary materials to paying greater attention to resources, local suppliers and the territory around us.

Some of these practices have become part of our everyday way of working. Others are still areas where we can improve.

In 2026, we carried out our first B Impact Assessment, looking at our business through different areas including governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

We chose this voluntary assessment as a way to look more systematically at our current practices and to identify where a more structured approach is needed.

The assessment is not a certification. For us, it represents a starting point: a way to establish a clearer picture of where we are today and to help define the next steps.

The results refer to the assessment period ending on 31 December 2024 and provide a baseline that we can use when reviewing our progress in the future.

Our goal is to turn this starting point into a more structured and measurable approach to sustainability.

This means defining clearer objectives, improving the way we collect and monitor relevant information, reviewing our practices regularly and identifying practical areas for improvement.

As Hotel Loveno evolves, we want these principles to become part of the way we think about the future development of the property as well.

We do not have all the answers yet. But we believe that understanding where we are, measuring what we can and improving step by step is a meaningful way forward.
